Faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwasher installs, shut-off valves, water-line leaks, outdoor spigots. $95/hr. Drain cleaning and hydro jetting are still the core specialty — this page is for the small plumbing jobs that come up around drain calls or as standalone visits.

02 / Often paired with a drain call
While we're already there.
About half of our light-plumbing visits happen as add-ons to a drain or jetting job. We're already at your house, already tooled up, already insured and on the clock — so a leaky shut-off valve under the kitchen sink or a wobbly garbage disposal we noticed during the call doesn't need a second service trip.
Tell us about the plumbing problem when you book the drain call. We'll come out with what we need to handle both, and you get one written estimate covering everything before any work starts.
03 / Pricing
$95/hr. Billed hourly.
Light plumbing bills at the same $95/hr rate as drain clearing — you pay for the time we're on site. Most homeowners reach out searching Omaha plumber for a small job; that's exactly the bucket of work this page covers.
Written estimate before we come out (or before any work starts at the door). No diagnostic fee, no surprise charges. If we get to the door and find more than you told us about, we re-quote in writing before starting.
Hydro jetting still bills at $300/hr — see our pricing page for the full breakdown.
04 / What we still don't do
Honest about the limits.
Light plumbing is in scope. Master-Plumber-license-required work isn't. If your job is on this list, we'll refer you to a licensed Master Plumber we trust — no kickback, no bundled invoice.
- Water heater install or repair (Master Plumber + gas-fitter)
- Any gas-line work
- In-wall water-line installation
- Full repipes (galvanized to PEX, etc.)
- Bathroom or kitchen remodel plumbing
- Septic-tank or sewer-excavation work
- Boiler or radiant-heat work
- Pipe lining or trenchless replacement

Light plumbing FAQs
01 What light plumbing services do you offer in Omaha?
Faucet repair and replacement (kitchen, bathroom, utility), toilet repair and replacement (running toilets, fill valves, flappers, full swaps, flange repair), garbage disposal repair / replacement / installation, dishwasher installation, shut-off valve and supply-line replacement, water line and leak repair (exposed lines, under-sink, supply joints), and outdoor spigot / hose bib repair. Drain cleaning and hydro jetting remain our core specialty.
02 How much does faucet repair, toilet replacement, garbage disposal installation, or dishwasher install cost?
Billed at $95/hr — you pay for the time we're on site. Most jobs wrap in an hour or less. Written estimate before we come out or before any work begins. No diagnostic fee, no surprise charges. If we're there for a drain call and handle a light-plumbing item on the same visit, you get one written estimate covering both.
03 Do you install dishwashers?
Yes — including pulling the old unit, hooking up the new water supply, drain line (to the garbage disposal or air gap), and securing it to the cabinet. If the install needs new wiring (hardwired with no existing junction box), we coordinate that part with an electrician. Most dishwasher installs wrap in 1–2 hours when the rough-in is ready.
04 Do I need a plumber to install a new faucet, or can I do it myself?
A like-for-like faucet swap with existing shut-off valves and supply lines is genuinely a DIY-able job for handy homeowners. Where we earn the call: when the existing shut-offs are seized or leaking, when the supply lines are corroded, when the rough-in dimensions are different, when there's tight clearance, or when the previous installer used over-tight basin nuts. We handle those for you in about an hour.
05 My garbage disposal won't turn on — is it broken?
Usually not. The most common cause is a tripped overload reset (red button on the bottom of the unit). After that: a jammed impeller (we free it with an Allen key from below), a tripped breaker, or a failed wall switch. If the motor is genuinely dead — humming or stone silent with power confirmed — replacement is usually more cost-effective than repair for residential disposals.
06 Can you fix a water-line leak or a leaking shut-off valve?
Yes for exposed water lines (basement, under sinks, behind washing machines, utility room), shut-off valves (under fixtures or at the main), and supply-line leaks. If you can see the leak, we can usually fix it. We do NOT do in-wall water-line installation, water-heater work, gas-line work, or full repipes — those need a Master Plumber license and we refer to one we trust.
07 Can you fix my running toilet or replace the fill valve / flapper?
Yes. Running toilets, weak flushes, slow refills, leaking tanks, and wax-ring / flange repairs are all standard calls. Most repairs use a universal fill-valve / flapper kit and wrap in under an hour. Full toilet replacement, also yes — including hauling away the old unit.
08 What plumbing services do you NOT do?
Water heater install or repair, gas-line work, in-wall water-line installation, full repipes, bathroom or kitchen remodel plumbing, septic work, sewer-line excavation, boiler and radiant work, pipe lining, backflow testing. Anything that requires a Master Plumber license is outside our licensed scope — we refer to a licensed Master Plumber for those.
